At the 11th International Digital Public Health Conference (DPH 2026), held in Barcelona in June, the AiMA team — Alba Barnés, Jessica Ortiz, Alejandro Izquierdo, Rubén Campuzano and Germán Gallego — presented this poster in the Posters & Demos track.
The poster describes a home-based rehabilitation tool that uses markerless computer vision to track a person’s movements through a standard webcam, with no wearable sensors required. Designed initially for upper-limb rehabilitation after stroke, the system checks each exercise repetition in real time against clinically defined ranges of motion, gives users immediate feedback, and sends clinicians regular summaries to support remote, data-driven therapy adjustments.
Early in-house testing with 10 participants showed short, stable session times and a System Usability Scale score of 80.5 out of 100. A clinical pilot with adults over 65, the tool’s target population, is now getting underway pending ethics approval, and will validate these preliminary findings.
