This coming Thursday, 24 April, AiMA Beyond will take part in the round table “Innovation Capsules in Health and Social Care” at the 14th RDI TIC Salut Social Conference, held at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia.

Alex Izquierdo, CEO of AiMA Beyond Ai, will participate in the session alongside Dr Bartomeu Ayala, Head of Health and Social Innovation at Althaia Manresa. Their presentation will highlight the key features of AiMA, an assistant designed to reduce social isolation and foster emotional connection.

The various round tables and expert contributions scheduled for the day aim to delve into and reflect on the role of virtual assistants in the care of individuals. We are currently at a pivotal moment in the advancement and innovation of technologies dedicated to personal care and support, particularly for older adults. This is a time when the relationship between individuals and virtual assistants is becoming increasingly established in the field of health and social wellbeing.

The event will be attended by professionals from across the healthcare, artificial intelligence, and technology sectors. Discussions will focus on the emergence of new roles for professionals and citizens in the healthcare and care professions, as well as the growing importance of innovation in the health and social care sector.
